Area Manager

Area Manager Job Purpose:

To know the market and proactively source and sell real estate, by developing client and investor relationships.

  • Reports directly to: Operations Director
  • Supervises: Senior Property Consultants and Property Consultants within his / her team
  • Coordinates with: Clients, Transaction Manager, Finance, CRM Coordinator, Admin Support
Area Manager’s Job Duties:

As a Manager:

  • Responsible for the performance of his / her team in their designated area
  • Lead the team and set an example at all times
  • Oversees the daily operations of his / her team
  • Monitors the teams’ performance / individual team members’ performance
  • Coaches his / her team members when needed
  • Problem solving
  • Acts as mentor to members of his / her team

  • Ensures level of customer service required by the company is met
  • Ensures team stays aware of latest news / property news in the area

As a Property Consultant:

  • Knowledge of the business and the real estate market
  • Advise clients or customers
  • Inspect properties
  • Write business correspondence
  • Analyse financial data
  • Apply knowledge of contract, property and financial laws
  • Collect fees
  • Apply knowledge of economic trends
  • Apply real estate terminology
  • Maintain records, reports and files
  • Source properties
  • Know local areas and developments / trends
  • Follow property market trends
  • Follow financial markets
  • Sell real estate
  • Maintain relationships with clients
  • Schedule real estate closings
  • Network with agents, developers, investors
  • Prepare documentation required
  • Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of property, advising them on the suitability and value of the homes they are visiting
  • Advise sellers as to achievable selling price based on current market evaluation
  • Compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold in order to determine its competitive market price
  • Coordinate appointments to show homes to prospective buyers
  • Interview clients to determine what kinds of properties they are seeking
  • Evaluate mortgage options to help clients obtain financing at the best prevailing rates and terms
  • Visit properties to assess them before showing them to clients
  • Generate lists of properties that are compatible with buyers’ needs and financial resources
  • Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters
  • Investigate clients’ financial and credit status in order to determine eligibility for financing
  • Develop networks of lawyers, mortgage lenders, and contractors to whom clients may be referred
  • Answer clients’ questions regarding construction work, financing, maintenance, repairs, and appraisals
  • Review property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature, and attend conventions, seminars, and staff and association meetings in order to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets
  • Appraise properties to determine loan values
  • Coordinate property closings, overseeing signing of documents and disbursement of funds
  • Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration


Experienced in the Dubai Sales market for over 4 years, preferably over 1 years prior managerial experience, strong communication skills, able to make responsible and effective decisions, outstanding achiever in their area, self motivated, client focused, strong motivator, effective leader, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrates mentoring ability, highly driven with ability to drive others, problem-solver, skilled negotiator, a people person, excellent network of clients / investors, strong market knowledge, knows at least one area in detail, high energy level, consummate professional, highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Has the ability to meet targets and lead and manage a growing team in a high-pressure environment.
